Guide to Hosting a Workshop at
Woodford Spiritualist Church
We are delighted to offer our church hall for events and workshops that reflect our values, comply with legal safety standards, and follow the guidelines set by the Spiritualists’ National Union (SNU) and the Charity Commission.
This is a brief guide to booking the church.
The church offers the hall and public spaces for your workshops. Our representative will oversee Opening / Closing and Safety.
There is no fixed scale of charges. To cover our costs, we take 30% of the charge to attendees.
We understand you may not be a teacher in the formal sense, but an experienced teacher of spirit. To host an event, the committee requires the following details: Title, Cost, Date, Times, Special requirements and a brief description of the workshop. To communicate with you, we require: Name, email and telephone number. If we are new to us, a little about your background will be useful.

When planning weekly or monthly events, you may be asked for references and proof of insurance, so please use your legal name (Indicate if you wish to use a working name)
You may contact the church In Person talking to a member of the committee, e-mail or by Letter.
Please submit your request in good time to allow consideration at a committee meeting. The date of the next meeting is listed on the front page of the website. We recommend submitting at least one month in advance to allow proper preparation and publicity for your event.
After the committee meeting, someone will contact you about your request.
